Our client is a global leader in many diverse markets such as infrastructure, transportation, water, telecommunications, aviation, commercial, environmental, planning, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and homeland security. They provide technical and management solutions to federal, regional and local government agencies as well as to private industries worldwide.
The client sought to outsource several key steps and on several projects all of their recruiting processes and functions. These projects included recruiting for the U.S. and the Middle East.
Key goals included the following:

- Streamline front-end recruiting process for best practices
- Accelerate speed of response in filling a candidate pipeline

- Increase quality and qualification of candidates through rigorous screening and assessment

Our Solution
Chosen as an exclusive global partner for these projects, System One was able to provide process solutions inclusive of recruitment and advertising services that allowed the client to leverage internal staff while maximizing response time, quality and cost savings on high visibility projects throughout North America and the Middle East. System One has worked in partnership with the client to develop several solutions that have been in place and successful since 2002.
Key components of System One’s solution included:
- Dedicated project teams in the US and the UK to manage all projects domestically and internationally
- Management of all candidate sourcing channels with ongoing candidate contact and monthly re-evaluation
- Weekly status and strategy review, including continuous improvement with client and System One project teams
- Best practice recruitment processes, which tie directly into the client’s internal process for hire
- Creative and cost effective hiring solutions for the client based on individual project needs that include: retained, contingent and outsourcing components
The Results
Our client initially began its relationship with System One in 2002. Since then, the firm has partnered with System One on many international and domestic projects.
System One has achieved:
- A defined and proven process for identification, screening and qualification of candidates that feeds directly into the client’s internal hiring process
- Identification and qualification of advertising methods to attract a qualified candidate pipeline
- Identification, screening and assessment of over 10,000 candidates, with submittal of over 3,000 qualified candidates into the pipeline with skill sets covering public works, infrastructure, design and build, urban planning, construction and operations and telecommunications
- Placement of over 150 permanent candidates for projects in the US and Middle East
- Manpower execution of over 100 contractors in the U.S for projects initiated in 2002 to present
