Our client is the global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of power generation plants. During our original negotiations with our client for this contract, both parties recognized that the service being requested was somewhat more complex than other standard staffing service contracts.

Many of the services noted were placed under System One’s direction in order to improve the quality of the certification process and documentation while reducing the client's internal costs. However, certification of inspection personnel in the nuclear industry requires that the certifying company operate under formal quality programs and procedures. These governing documents and processes must be periodically revised for compliance to the latest industry codes and standards. Additionally, the administrative personnel for such programs and activities must maintain their professional credentials in order to be qualified to perform their job duties. These requirements add both cost and value to the service beyond the direct salaries of management staff.


The Results
Our client initially calculated that they were able to realize substantial savings year over year by outsourcing these services to System One. Additionally, System One has achieved dramatic improvements to the quality of the program documentation. Audit findings by our client's customers and outside agencies immediately dropped to zero after our contract award and have been sustained throughout the contract period. The savings and positive quality results have recently extended our agreement for another term in spite of strong competition from other industry suppliers and other client-owned and operated organizations.
