 Troy Gregory
President and CEO
As President and CEO of System One Holdings, LLC, Troy Gregory holds responsibility for the strategic direction and expansion of a diverse portfolio of staffing, managed services and customized solutions. Troy applies more than 15 years’ experience leading successful, growth-oriented businesses delivering specialized expertise to Fortune 500 clients.
In 2008, Troy led the management buyout of System One from Hudson Highland Group, consisting of that firm’s Energy, Engineering, Scientific and Managed Staffing business lines. Recognizing the value of a strong operating platform built over 30 years, Troy capitalized on a tremendous market opportunity. Combining a consultative sales model with recruiting best practices, System One continues to expand its professional services and geographic footprint under Troy’s leadership.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Troy has amassed a track record of exceptional results, built on deep customer relationships and a high-performance culture. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President for Hudson Legal, the world’s largest legal staffing firm. There, he grew operations at least 35% a year, delivering consistent revenue growth and launching innovative discovery solutions to leading law firms and corporate clients.
Earlier, Troy served as CEO of Gregory & Gregory and Attorneys on Assignment, two affiliated firms providing a full range of recruiting services to the legal community. Troy oversaw the acquisition of these firms by TMP Worldwide/Monster, which subsequently divested the operations that evolved into Hudson Legal. Troy resides in northern New Jersey, traveling frequently to client sites as an active participant in their work force planning processes. He holds a degree in Communications from the University of Hartford.
 Daniel J. Moran
Chief Financial Officer
Daniel Moran is the Chief Financial Officer of System One Holdings, LLC, where he is responsible for all financial functions of the corporation. He has extensive expertise in finance, controllership, risk management, executing business strategies, streamlining processes and increasing margins.
Daniel has a strong track record of creating short- and long-term business plans and successfully implementing financial systems, directing shared services, and leading merger and acquisition integrations. Daniel played a key role in the management buyout of System One from Hudson Highland Group in early 2008, developing the financial team and infrastructure necessary to achieve desired profit objectives and maintain the integrity of all financial resources.
Daniel's most recent position was the North American Controller at Hudson Highland Group, a publicly-traded professional staffing, outsourcing and talent management firm, where he oversaw the accounting and finance functions. Key accomplishments there included implementing a dedicated client services function to facilitate efficient transactions and improve customer service and directing PeopleSoft stabilization and optimization programs.
Earlier in his career, Daniel held various executive and corporate positions in both the public and private sectors, including Corporate Director of Accounting & Finance, Corporate Controller and Internal Audit Positions. His broad-based skills position him exceptionally well to develop a financial platform for continued growth at System One.
Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant. A lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania, he a graduate from Mercyhurst College, where he obtained his B.A. in Accounting.
 Greg Lignelli
Chief Operating Officer
Greg Lignelli is the Chief Operating Officer of System One Holdings, LLC. Previously, Greg was the Executive Vice President of Hudson’s Energy, Scientific, and Managed Staffing practice group. Greg works out of the Corporate Headquarters based in Pittsburgh, PA. Greg has over nine years of experience in business analysis, operations and sales within the Energy, Scientific and Engineering sectors. He previously served as the Vice President of Financial Operations for the Energy, Scientific and Managed Staffing and the Engineering, Aerospace & Defense practice groups at Hudson. His responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, performance and financial analysis, and worked closely with the overall operations.
Greg has fulfilled multiple roles within his tenure with the company, distinguishing himself through
his understanding of client relationships, financial operations and national account development. He began his career with one of Hudson’s legacy companies, SPEC Group Holdings, Inc., as Corporate Business Analyst for the Mergers and Acquisition Department.
Once the company exited their acquisition strategy, he was asked to fulfill the roles of Credit and Collections. After merging with TMP Worldwide in December, 2000, he began a new role as
e-Commerce Business Development Associate, where he found innovative ways to conduct business through the use of the internet and software for the Engineering Practice Group. In addition, he performed financial analysis responsibilities and established a large national account. Greg has since held roles as the Engineering Aerospace &Defense Pittsburgh Office Practice Lead and interim EVP
for Engineering Aerospace & Defense. Greg holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University.
 Mark A. Fenske
Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President for System One, Mark Fenske is responsible for strategic business initiatives and the operations of large global workforce management solutions. Mark has over 22 years of experience in the contract labor staffing and technical services fields. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President for Hudson’s Energy practice and earlier as an Executive Vice President for Headway Corporate Resources, a large New York City based staffing firm.
Mark’s background includes sales and operations management for large, complex vendor-on-premises (VOP) services contracts throughout a variety of business sectors, including: utilities and power generation, manufacturing, food, financial and banking industries. He has specialized in the design and delivery of customized, technology-driven solutions to meet the challenges of high-volume and cyclic demand for professional, technical and skilled workers.
Mark has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Westinghouse Electric Company, General Electric Nuclear Power, Siemens, US Steel, Hershey Foods, Genworth Financial and Research Triangle Institute. In addition to recruitment and staffing processes, his experience in variable workforce management includes custom training programs; employee evaluations and certification; industry specific regulatory compliance issues; quality assurance; safety programs; and employee screening and security clearance programs.
 Gary J. Valentine
Executive Vice President
Gary Valentine is Executive Vice President of System One, where he is responsible for day to day transactional sales and service delivery. He has over 15 years in the staffing industry, primarily focused on the pharmaceutical, medical device, aerospace, energy and automotive industries. His duties include executive leadership, strategic planning, organization building, and management of the North American team that provides contract, direct placement and managed staffing to clients in high-growth sectors such as construction, civil and geotechnical engineering.
Gary also holds responsibility for developing sales and recruiting processes and enhancing profitability, as well as identification of new markets for business expansion and potential acquisitions. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President of Hudson Highland Group’s Engineering, Aerospace & Defense practice. In 2006, Mr. Valentine was the recipient of a Hudson Chairman’s Award, which recognizes individuals who best exemplify the core values of collaboration, empowerment, integrity, respect and responsibility.
Previously, Gary was Kelly Engineering Resources’ Senior Director responsible for the Eastern Region of the United States. That included complete responsibility for the management of all sales, operations and recruiting for 17 states, and Washington, DC. Additionally, he was appointed to lead the Kelly Engineering Resources’ European Operations. In that newly created position, Gary was accountable for the creation, development and implementation of the strategic plan to spearhead Kelly Engineering Resources’ growth throughout Northern Europe and Russia.
After assuming the managing role for the Eastern Region of Kelly Engineering Resources in 2001, Gary’s team was able to increase sales 67% and contribution (net profit) 85% annually. By 2004, his branches accounted for 50% of the top sales performers, hours and contribution generators of the Engineering Division. In 2005, revenues reached record highs and his region maintained over 30 global accounts. In all of his positions, Gary has played an integral role in the development and implementation of several national agreements.
Gary has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University at Buffalo, School of Management.
