System One Exhibiting at the AWEA WINDPOWER® 2011 Conference & Exhibition

System One will be exhibiting at the upcoming WINDPOWER 2011 conference (Booth #2933), the premier wind energy event in North America organized by the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). The event will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California from May 22nd through 25th. The WINDPOWER conference combines education, exhibition, and networking to capture the energy of the rapidly expanding wind market, creating a venue for business, and bold, forward-looking action.

With the demand for U.S. electricity production increasing, wind energy has served as an important component to meeting our nation’s energy demands. This year, whereas much of the country’s traditional energy suppliers experienced outages when electricity demand surged due to the cold weather, the vast majority of the wind turbine fleet across the Great Plains was unaffected and continued producing electricity on schedule. “The sustainability of wind energy is exciting news for all of us in the industry, as it reinforces wind power’s valuable contribution to the nation’s energy market," stated Gary Valentine, Executive Vice President of System One.
