Steven Huntington Joins System One as VP of Quality Solutions

System One is pleased to announce that Steven Huntington has joined as Vice President of Quality Solutions, with responsibility for the company’s quality assurance, quality control, nondestructive testing and inspection services to support electric power generation and other industrial environments. In addition, he will oversee the System One Technical Training Center (SOTC), which provides qualified NDE technicians and quality control inspectors in support of rigorous industry standards.

Steven brings a wealth of strategic and operational experience within the nuclear energy and power engineering sectors to the role. His industry acumen uniquely positions System One to expand its quality solutions services within the nuclear, fossil and industrial sectors.

Prior to joining System One, Steven served as the Executive Vice President for TriVis’ Utility Services business unit, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of a diverse set of solutions, including QA/QC, NDE services, waste management, engineering, construction, staffing, manufacturing surety and major project controls. Steven also served on the executive team at Progress Energy as General Manager of Nuclear Projects.

Earlier, Steven held a series of executive positions within the Framatome/AREVA organization. Prior to joining Framatome, Steve worked for WesDyne International, a global high technology inspection services company as the Vice President of Marketing and Engineering and for Westinghouse Electric Company as the Director of Boiling Water Reactor Services. Prior to that, Steve spent over 18 years in construction, outage management, plant upgrade and maintenance, quality management, and weapons productions leadership roles for utility, construction management, and government services companies in the nuclear power industry.

Steven holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from the Engineering School at Southern Illinois University, and has completed the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business Executive Courses for Extraordinary Leadership and Building Business Alliances.
