Practice Manager

System One is looking for hands-on business leaders to manage a branch office and assist in business development and the placement of technical professionals. With responsibility for P&L management, business growth, and staff development, our business model allows each Practice Manager to build and manage their own business at the local level.

System One is the specialist for the energy, engineering and scientific sectors, providing technical outsourcing solutions to improve your productivity. We are expanding our team for these business lines and are looking for proven, sales-oriented practice managers to help us build market share and develop our employees’ ability to succeed.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing a P&L for a regional office and ensuring steady growth of revenue and margin
  • Managing direct report personnel including account managers and recruiters
  • Establishing programs to ensure execution of job orders and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Selling a geographic territory in the technical sector
  • Targeting strategic personnel for future hires
  • Actively supporting the sales process, including direct sales of contract, permanent recruitment and/or managed staffing arrangements.

Account Executive/Business Developer

We are expanding our sales staff for these business lines and are looking for self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and energetic Account Executives to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years staffing experience, preferably in a technical or professional environment. An Account Executive is responsible for identifying opportunities, growing and managing multiple accounts at senior levels of the client organization. You must be able to identify potential business opportunities using existing relationships, industry knowledge and market research. Consultative selling proficiency and fostering lasting client relationships are musts.

Responsibilities for the position include:
  • Create a strong pipeline of clients and prospects
  • Actively market System One’s services through a consistently high volume of activity
  • Cultivate strong relationships at C level, VP and Director level
  • Regularly attend and serve on boards of professional industry associations
  • Maintain expected weekly gross margin dollars and average gross margin percentage

Our recruiters hold responsibility for identifying and attracting top-performing professionals both in response to our current openings and on a proactive basis. You should be comfortable building a talent pool and following a client request through to successful start.

Recruiters are responsible to:
  • Utilize creative, professional and ethical recruiting methods to identify top-performing candidates for open technical and professional positions
  • Initiate contact with target candidates and develop relationships
  • Regularly attend and serve on boards of professional industry associations
  • Interview and screen potential candidates including: face-to-face, phone interviews, and reference checking

  • To be considered for this role, your background should include:
  • Minimum of three years of sales or recruiting experience, preferably in professional services and ideally in permanent placement
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with both clients and internal staff and work teams
  • Industry experience within energy, engineering, scientific or technical arenas is preferred
  • BA/BS preferred
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with senior level professionals
